There are certain rules set by the authorities for driving a car on the road. The most common rule in all countries is the speed limit for a particular road. In other words, if the speed of the car exceeds this limit, it is against the law.
To detect the speed of a moving vehicle, police cars typically rely on radar or hand guns that use LIDAR technology. This is a time consuming process as officers have to manually check the speed of each vehicle.
What happens if the vehicle speed detection is automatic? Easy automatic detection of vehicle speed was developed in the Arduino Car Speed Detector project. In this project, the system can be placed in one place and the results can be viewed instantly without human intervention.
