The GSM-based patient health monitoring project is primarily aimed at allowing doctors or relatives of patients to remotely check the health of their patients. The system calculates the patient's heart rate and temperature, and when these exceed certain limits, an information alert is sent immediately to the registered number. The system used an AVR family microcontroller connected to an LCD display, heartbeat sensor, and temperature sensor. The GSM-based patient health monitoring system uses a GSM modem to remotely send data to a registered number. The system is powered by a 12V transformer. The system also has a manual health button that allows the patient to contact the doctor for other problems, which can be very helpful in saving the patient's life. In addition, a function has been introduced that allows doctors to send a message to check the patient's condition after a certain period of time. The system efficiently informs the doctor about the patient's health and accurately calculates the patient's health parameters.
