The ADXL335 is a breakout board based on Analog Devices' 3-axis ADXL335IC. The accelerometer module does not require an external device and operates on a 5V power supply. It can be connected directly to the ADC of a microcontroller without any external components.
This module can be used to detect 3-axis movement or tilt (when stopped). This is the latest product of the proven analog sensor, the Holy Grail of accelerometers. The ADXL335 is a 3-axis MEMS accelerometer with ultra-low noise and low power consumption of only 320uA. The full detection range of the sensor is +/- 3g. The burst echo returns to the sensor. By measuring the echo pulse width, you can easily calculate the distance to the target.
Features of ADXL335:
- 3-axis sensing.
- Small, low profile package.
- 4 mm × 4 mm × 1.45 mm LFCSP.
