The 1-Channel Capacitive Touch Sensor Module uses the TTP223 Touch Sensitive IC to detect touch inputs, making it easy to add capacitive touch inputs to your project. Touch sensing ICs are designed to replace traditional direct selection with a variety of pad sizes. The module has one touchpad. After supplying 2 to 5.5V DC to the module, the touchpad is fully active and captures the input.
The single-channel capacitive touch sensor module is easy to connect. It can be used with or without a microcontroller or Arduino. If a capacitive load (such as a human hand) is in the immediate vicinity of the sensor pad, the sensor will detect the change in capacitance and activate the switch. Custom sensor pads can be made from almost any conductive material. These sensors can detect contact through thin layers of non-conductive materials such as glass, plastic, cloth and even wood.
Under normal conditions, the module output is low and the power consumption is low. Touching the corresponding position with your finger switches the module output to high, and if you do not touch it for 12 seconds, it switches to low power mode.
