The BMP180 sensor is Bosch's accurate and cost-effective sensor for measuring barometric pressure and temperature. Since the barometric pressure changes depending on the altitude, it can also be used as an altimeter! The sensor is soldered to a PCB with a 3.3V regulator, an I2C level shifter, and an I2C pin pull-up resistor. It is exactly the same as BMP085 in terms of firmware / software.
