Social distancing may be implemented however people are not selfaware in tracking their distances between other people. This study developed a device using Raspberry Pi that measures the distance between people for monitoring social distancing. The system used YOLO algorithm to detect humans within the given camera frame. It also used the Euclidean distance formula to calculate the distances between people detected. Then, violators were identified as people that are not observing at least 1 meter apart from other people. In the ad, non-violators have green highlights, while they are distinguished by red highlights. The display was also divided into five areas to properly notify violators, using LEDs to notify violators near the table and provide announcements to violators in other areas. The ESP8266 was used as a microcontroller and WiFi module to control the LEDs wirelessly. A paired t-test comparing the calculated distance measurement with the actual distance measurement yielded a t-score of 0.0714. This corresponds to a probability value of 0.94. The calculated probability values do not show a significant difference between the calculated distance obtained from the device and the actual distance measurement from the controlled assembly.
